Earlier this month, a team from CSNTM departed on our first international expedition since 2019. With anticipation, the small crew packed up the equipment and travelled to the Lambeth Palace Library in London. The research fellows spent the first couple of weeks carefully examining each manuscript for photography, recording metadata for future study and cataloging. Currently, CSNTM staff with the help some volunteers are digitizing the Greek New Testament manuscripts and other important books in Lambeth’s collection.
We want to thank the Lambeth Palace Library for hosting us and partnering with us in the incredible work of digitally preserving these precious artifacts. We also thank our generous supporters who have made this work possible.
We will share a complete expedition summary after the team returns. In the meantime, enjoy some photos (below) from the work done thus far and see regular updates on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
