We are in a battle for truth. Voices of doubt and skepticism are gaining massive online followings, persuading thousands that the New Testament is unreliable, and that their faith rests on uncertain, even nonexistent, ground.

CSNTM is uniquely positioned to respond. Through our work preserving and studying the history of the New Testament, we are able to confront these claims directly and help restore confidence in the trustworthiness of the text.

The growing influence of skeptics, especially among general audiences, calls for a response at a similar scale. While the Biblion Lecture Series offers formal, structured lesson content, there is a clear need for content that is flexible and casual enough to interact with emerging research and address trending issues.

To meet this need, CSNTM proposes launching a new video series featuring Dr. Daniel B. Wallace in extended, lay-level conversations with guest scholars on important issues and recent developments in New Testament studies. The style and tone will be similar to “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which engages guests in casual conversation.

Startup cost includes hiring or contracting a producer and/or media firm to help with scheduling, editing, promoting, and then launching the series. The equipment is covered under a separate project and a potential set has been identified. The most likely platform is the CSNTM YouTube channel, “@CSNTMProductions,” with excerpts created for TikTok, Instagram Reels, X, Facebook, etc.

Objective One

Provide a winsome, intelligent, engaging resource for non-scholars to receive accurate information regarding the New Testament text, its preservation, and its history.

Objective Two

Build confidence in the reliability of the New Testament text from a scholarly perspective using facts and logic in the pursuit of truth.

Objective Three

Expand the CSNTM audience and donor base, while promoting other programs, like the Biblion Lecture Series, the Biblion Conference, the Biblion Wiki, and the CSNTM Digital Manuscript Collection.

CSNTM is seeking to raise $100,000 for the first 2 years of production.

Will you help bring history of the New Testament to non-scholars?
