For over two decades,
the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts (CSNTM) has pursued the great and noble task of preserving the New Testament text and manuscripts, and tracing its history through the ages. Since 2002, our pioneering efforts have been driven by a primary purpose: to digitally preserve these priceless artifacts and make them freely accessible to everyone, everywhere, for all time.
While our mission remains steadfast, the past 22 years have brought remarkable milestones:
- Our early 4–5 megapixel cameras have given way to state-of-the-art 150-megapixel technology.
- Our database, which once housed a modest collection, now holds over 547,677 manuscript images.
- What began with the discovery of a single manuscript has expanded to dozens of discoveries by CSNTM team members, alongside many other groundbreaking achievements.
These advancements reflect our dedication to using the best tools and technologies to preserve, share, and study the New Testament.
And today, we’re thrilled to celebrate this history of growth and commitment with a new look.
Introducing CSNTM’s New Logo

This logo is more than just a design refresh—it’s a visual representation of who we are and where we’re going. It retains the aperture, a symbol of our commitment to digitization and a nod to the countless individuals who have carried this mission forward. Yet, it introduces a modern, refined look that reflects the progress we’ve made and the path we’re forging into the future.
