DESCRIPTION:Invest in the Future of Biblical Scholarship \nSeptember 17 is North Texas Giving Day\, and you have a unique opportunity to invest in the future of biblical scholarship through the CSNTM Internship Program. \nAnd thanks to some generous donors\, every gift will be matched—dollar for dollar—up to $25\,000! \nAt CSNTM\, we work to ensure that the New Testament text you hold in your hands most accurately reflects the original writings of the Apostles by preserving and studying the earliest surviving copies of their writings. For nearly 2\,000 years\, this work has been carried forward from one generation to the next. \nToday\, we have the responsibility and privilege to prepare the next generation of scholars to carry it forward by identifying promising Bible scholars and equipping them to study\, preserve\, and teach the New Testament. \nFor more than two decades\, we have seen the impact of this investment. Dozens of CSNTM interns have gone on to make valuable contributions to the study of Scripture. Many have earned their PhDs\, teach in seminaries\, and write significant works on the Bible. Others have become translators\, missionaries\, and pastors. Collectively\, they are helping others see the beauty of Scripture and reaffirming the faith once for all handed down to the saints. \nWhat Does an Internship at CSNTM Look Like? \nThis is far more than a typical internship. Our rigorous and enriching program includes: \n\nWeekly seminars with leading scholars in New Testament studies\, manuscript research\, and textual criticism\nOne-on-one mentorship with CSNTM scholars\nExtensive reading and hands-on textual criticism\nResearch projects designed to prepare interns for PhD studies\nOpportunities to contribute to the Digital Manuscript Collection and other CSNTM projects\nNetworking and volunteer opportunities with scholars and partner institutions\n\nBut the impact goes far beyond academics. \nWe are equipping these men and women to flourish in their respective fields as faithful stewards of God’s Word\, giving them the tools and skills to pursue truth and approach biblical scholarship with integrity\, excellence\, and faith. \nAt a time when biblical illiteracy and skepticism are on the rise\, our interns are preparing to stand at the front lines—upholding the truth of Scripture\, writing the commentaries pastors rely on\, and guiding believers to faithfully read and teach the Word of Life. \nThey are tomorrow’s translators\, professors\, pastors\, scholars\, and missionaries. \nHelp Prepare the Next Generation \nThis year\, three outstanding interns are working alongside our team\, beginning the same journey that dozens of CSNTM interns have taken before them. Your support helps provide them with the training\, mentorship\, and experience they need to carry this work into their respective fields. \nOur goal is to raise $50\,000 to support the training of this year’s interns.
